Vitra “Polder” 3-Seat Sofa – In Dark-Brown Leather – RRP £10,000
About The Item
Hello Friends, and welcome to another unmissable offering from Lord Browns Furniture, the UK’s premier resource for fine Sofas and Chairs.
On offer on this occasion is a rare, superb “Polder” 3-Seat “Armrest right – Sitting left” Sofa in a special-order, premium dark-brown leather, from the world renown Swiss furniture house, Vitra.
As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Hella Jongerius masterpiece, Vitra pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.
In a world of temporary pleasures, Vitra create beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever and, being a special-order, limited-production, leather-clad version of this icon, has been specified and manufactured to serve many future generations.
Dressed in the most stunning and tactile special-order, high-grade premium-leather option in dark-brown. This hide is easily recognised as being of peerless quality with it being as robust and hard-wearing as rhino skin, whilst its softness and texture is simply divine to the touch.
In common with many of the iconic Vitra pieces and designs such as this, it is easily the kind of sofa that could last you a lifetime (and beyond) and, for the avoidance of doubt, is a genuine investment-grade piece of heirloom quality.
This piece is in superb, immaculately-maintained condition, having seen light, regular use in its previous home, and is largely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its handsome order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past and, aside from the obvious light, superficial marks across the leather of the seat and back, and some burnishing and colour-reduction to the seat and back buttons, is presented in genuine, original, but definitely-not perfect condition.
For the avoidance of doubt, please view the numerous images provided to confirm its handsome condition and appearance.
In its current state, it is likely to meet the requirements of the all except the most-particular of buyers and, for someone looking for a piece of high-design to position at the heart of their home or workplace, it is truly heaven sent! This superb piece possesses all the beauty and majesty you would hope for from some of the finest contemporary furniture money can buy.
Dimensions-wise, its measurements are H-82cm, W-260cm and D-97cm.
The breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered composite back and seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Not only does it possess an aesthetic to die for, but it is so comfortable too!
Costing in excess of £10,000 when new, it represents spectacular value for money, and we have no doubt it will serve and delight its new owner for many years to come.
Delivery of this piece to most UK mainland addresses will cost £150, and can be organised on behalf of the winning bidder upon request using one of our hand-picked panel of specialist, fully-insured independent furniture couriers.
Should I be able to help you further, feel free to call or message me.
Warm regards,
Daniel – Lord Browns Furniture
